
Medium duty tool tensions and cuts steel or stainless steel banding widths from 1/4″ (6 mm) to 3/4″ (19 mm) and thicknesses from 0.015″ (0.4 mm) to 0.030″ (0.7 mm) Use with BNG, BSB, BSBLD, PPA316 and PVC316 series stainless steel banding, and with steel strapping.
Use for flat or irregular surface applications.

To Tension Banding | Insert the end of the banding through the slot in the tool nose and through the slot in the mandrel., Push and pull the handle back and forth to turn the mandrel and draw the banding through the buckle. When the banding is tight, rotate the tool over the buckle or wing seal., Push the lever forward to cut the banding., Slide the tool forward so that the nose approaches the buckle or wing seal., Use the knob opposite winding mandrel as a hammer head to tap down ears of buckles or wing seals. |
